On Saturday morning, Jack visited Baileys Court Primary School in Bradley Stoke for their Summer Fair. There were many great activities for families and a great selection of stalls run by local independent businesses. Jack was particular impressed by the talented young steel drummers who kept everyone entertained as visitors enjoyed the sunshine.
Whilst at the fair, Jack caught up with Bradley Stoke Mayor Cllr. Andy Ward as he manned the Bradley Stoke Radio stand. Jack talked to Andy about the charities he had recently chosen to be his mayoral charities for his 2017/18 term – Cardiomyopathy UK and Freewheelers Emergency Volunteer Service.
On the large turnout, Jack said “it is fantastic to see so many people care about their local community and come together to raise funds for Baileys Court Primary School, which will benefit pupils and enhance their education.”
