Great to be in Kent today campaigning for Matthew Scott, PCC for Kent ahead of the 2nd May PCC elections, where I had the privilege of visiting the remarkable Royal British Legion Village in Aylesford.
Great to see Tracey Crouch outside the Base Camp community hub and cafe which she opened in 2015.
I was pleased to be able to speak and contribute at the Remember and Recognise Taskforce meeting. It was very interesting to hear from veterans and about Matthew’s impactful work with Kent Police and Project Nova.
A highlight of the afternoon was touring the Britain's Bravest Manufacturing Company, a cornerstone of the Royal British Legion Industries, where I witnessed their outstanding work. It’s great to see support for our Armed Forces veterans in action.
