This afternoon, I highlighted the global shortage of basic ammunition, artillery shells and air defence systems. I asked the Prime Minister if we could upscale our industrial defence manufacturing capacity, putting it on a war footing so that we may continue assisting our friends in Ukraine and replenish our own stocks.
