Unfortunately Barclays have taken the decision not to re-open their Patchway branch after extensive fire damaged caused the bank to close in June 2017.

Severn Bridge Tolls VAT Scrapped

From today, local residents will benefit from cheaper travel across the Severn Bridge after the Government approved plans to make tolls VAT exempt. Cars heading for Wales will be charged £5.60 instead of £6.70, with vans paying £11.20 - down from £13.40 - and coaches £16.70, currently £20.

Funding Increase for Avon & Somerset Police

I welcome today’s announcement from the Home Office that there will be a £450 million increase in police funding across England and Wales. This includes an additional £270 million for police force budgets, so that individual forces have the resources they need.
