Jack was present today at the opening of 22 new homes for rent and shared ownership that have been commissioned by Knightstone Housing in Filton. The development was part of South Gloucestershire Council's strategy to deliver more affordable homes across South Gloucestershire. Of the 22 properties, 13 were for affordable rent and 9 for shared ownership. Knightstone had worked with the Council and contractors Speller Metcalfe to bring the site to completion. The opening ceremony was performed by Jack, Chair of the Council's Housing Committee Cllr Ben Stokes and Chair of Knightstone Housing Nick Medhurst.
Jack commented 'this is a great example of collaboration between Knightstone and the Council, working together to meet local housing need. And I'm pleased to hear Knightstone is committed to continuing to deliver more new homes in the area.'
