On Friday, Jack had the pleasure of being a guest of Boeing at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. He has attended this event for many years before he became an MP but now it doubles as a fantastic opportunity to meet with aerospace and defence businesses, such as BAE Systems who are based in our area.
Jack enjoyed seeing a showcase of Britain's air capabilities, including an A400M whose wings are built at the Airbus factory in Filton and engines are maintained locally by Rolls Royce.
The Defence Secretary Michael Fallon MP was also attendance and he announced two contracts worth £120 million that will sustain 330 British jobs and help the RAF to continue to perform at its best by improving training for fast jet pilots.
