Jack recently marked the start of construction at McCarthy and Stone’s forthcoming development in Charlton Hayes by joining the site manager, Adam Growcott, at the Retirement Living development, Hamilton House, to take a tour of the site and to find out more about how the new apartments will help older people to live active, independent lifestyles in their later years. Construction is set to commence at the neighbouring Retirement Living Plus development, Olympus Court, later this year.
Jack commented: “It was a pleasure to visit the site of McCarthy and Stone’s planned new Retirement Living development in Charlton Hayes, and to mark the start of construction there. It was a good opportunity to meet the site manager and hear first-hand about the housebuilder’s latest Retirement Living development which will help to meet the housing needs of retirees in Charlton Hayes and the surrounding areas.”
Simon Mantell, Regional Managing Director at McCarthy and Stone South West, said: “We are delighted Jack Lopresti MP was able to take the time to visit the Charlton Hayes site, and see for himself how this new dual development will benefit the local community. These modern developments demonstrate how McCarthy and Stone is committed to designing flexible homes which allow people to make the most of their retirement years, and to live as independently as possible with the benefit of having a range of amenities right on the doorstep.”
