Jack Lopresti completes Bristol Half Marathon
Jack Lopresti, Prospective Conservative MP for Filton & Bradley Stoke, completed the Bristol Half Marathon September last year, raising money for the local charities this year being supported by the Mayor of Bradley Stoke, Councillor Mark Forsyth. The two charities are BLESMA (British Limbless Ex-Servicemen Association) and the Bristol Dyslexia Society.
This is Jack’s fourth time of completing the Bristol Half Marathon and yesterday he achieved his best time so far!
Jack said ‘Having seen action in Afghanistan with the Army, BLESMA is a charity very close to my heart. I would like to thank all my family, friends and colleagues who have supported me and for everyone who has donated money.’
‘Local charities are the lifeblood of our community that provide vital support and assistance to our friends, neighbours and family. Even in tough times we need to help out in whatever way we can through volunteering, donations or raising money.’
